Free Breakfast at Denny's on February 3
Denny's restaurants across the country are giving away a free Grand Slam breakfast to everyone tomorrow (Tuesday, February 3, 2009). This promotion starts at 6:00 a.m. and ends at 2:00 p.m and it's one offer per customer. For more information, go here. Also, I've seen it posted on some blogs that they are handing out a coupon booklet too during this promotion that includes 8 coupons.
Depression Era Cooking with Clara
Are these rough economic times starting to hit home? Or perhaps they have already. I'm sure that all of us are feeling the need to pinch pennies even more than usual and are therefore always looking for new ways to save. On a recent Dollar Stretcher forum thread, someone shared a cool link that I thought I'd pass along to you. It's a series of YouTube videos by a wonderful lady named Clara. She shares some wonderful Depression Era cooking tips/recipes. I encourage you to watch these short videos if you are searching for some new frugal meal ideas.
Free McDonald's Coffee During the Month of February
Apparently, McDonald's is running ads saying that they will be offering free coffee during the month of February. Get a Free Medium premium roast coffee or vanilla, hazelnut or regular iced coffee between 5-9 a.m. all month in February. Valid only at participating locations. Only one item per person per visit. Offer good February 1 - 28. I tried looking this up on McDonald's website but failed to find any information. Therefore, you may want to check and see if your local McDonald's to see if this is a valid promotion and if they are participating.
Lowe's Upcoming Build and Grow Clinics
If you haven't heard yet, Lowe's has some great Build and Grow Clinics for kids. These are free and offer a fun outing for kids. The next clinic is being held on February 14 and the kids will get to build their own jewelry box. You can go here for more information and to sign up.
Piccadilly Kids Day - Kids Eat for 99cents!
